This is my second post. You are so right in obeying the truth. God's smile upon us for holding forth the Word of Life is far sweeter than the fellowship of 'religious' folk who would not have Jesus to reign over them. His approval means more than what this world has to offer.

Thank you so much for your message about women and skirts. I am so much more comfortable in pants. I as a woman love to wear skirts and dresses but they tend to blow up in breezes or if sitting can ride up, which exposes everything. Imagine being on a sports team or gardening in a dress! Besides women can be very modest and femenine in pants. As a christian it never occured to me that they may be wrong until I heard of this being an issue in some churches. thanks again.

I will not correct the Bible because in its original form it was inerrant. However the KJV translators did a bad job in some areas for example:

Genesis 49:6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall [KJV]

Error: “they digged down a wall” should be “they hamstrung an ox”. The Hebrew word used here for the word “wall” is showr. The translators mistakenly translated the Hebrew word shuwr which means wall. What is being stated hear is that they hurt animals for fun.

You see the King James Version is not a perfect translation. It is however a good translation and I do not consider myself a "Bible corrector" when I point out a translational issue. Those who promote the KJV Only cultist ideology will be held accountable on judgement day. Many Christians have stumbled because someone told them that their translation was no good and that they have to read the archaic KJV.

Tommy H. Heffner Sr.:
First of all you are a liar! You said that you were not a bible corrector, then you went right on and corrected it with the Hebrew. You should check into the nearest mental institution, maybe they can help you. God said that He had "words" that were pure and preserved 7 times; Ps. 12:6,7; "above His name"; Ps. 138:2; "in truth the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you", 1 Thess. 2:13; quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" Heb. 4:12; "word of the Lord endureth for ever." 1 Pet. 1:25; "Study ... the word of truth." 2 Tim. 2:15; etc., etc.! Where are those words if they are not in an Authorized King James Bible? They can't be in the 87 Greek texts or the 5 Hebrew texts, every one of them is different from the others.

Will Kinney:
Digged down a wall" or "hamstrung an ox"?

Genesis 49:6

In Mr. Norris's second salvo he plays the same game of Scholar Poker. He amasses his various scholars who all tell us the King James reading of "in their selfwill, they digged down a wall" is totally incorrect and the true reading should be "in their self-will they hamstrung an ox" as the NKJV, NASB, NIV, ESV, and most Catholic versions have it.

In Genesis chapter 49 Jacob is telling each of his sons something about what will befall them in the last days, and of their blessings or penalties. There we read what Jacob said concerning his two sons Simeon and Levi. "Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill THEY DIGGED DOWN A WALL."

"They digged down a wall" is the reading of the King James Bible, the Bishop's Bible 1568, the Geneva Bible 1587, the Spanish Reina Valera of 1569 and 1602, Las Sagradas Escrituras 1998, the 2004 Spanish Reina Valera Gomez Bible -"y en su voluntad arrancaron muro” - the Italian Diodati 1649, the Modern Greek Old Testament (not the Septuagint) - και εν τω πεισματι αυτων κατηδαφισαν τειχος, the Jewish Hebrew Publishing Company of New York version of 1936, the Douay Rheims of 1950, (though more recent Catholic versions like Jerusalem Bible and St. Joseph New American Bible read "hamstrung oxen") Webster's 1833 translation, the 1994 KJV 21st Century version, and the 1998 Third Millenium Bible.

In Mr. Norris' previous example of "hot springs" versus "mules" he summoned the Syriac Peshitta version to his side; however this time, the Syriac translation agrees with the King James reading and says: "in their rage they destroyed a town wall."

Again John Calvin sides with the King James reading. He translates into Latin " et voluntate sua eradicaverunt murum". Then he comments: "Interpreters also differ respecting the meaning of the word (shor.) Some translate it "bullock," ... But a different exposition is far preferable, namely, that they "overturned a wall." For Jacob magnifies the atrociousness of their crime, from the fact, that they did not even spare buildings in their rage."

The NKJV says "THEY HAMSTRUNG AN OX", the NIV "they hamstrung OXEN" and the NASB says "they LAMED AN OX." Young's has "they ERADICATED A PRINCE"!!! So what is going on here?

It all has to do with the pointed consonants introduced in the 6th century after Christ, and the points are not considered inspired. It is well know that an individual Hebrew word can multiple meanings. Only God can guide as to the true meaning of a text or word. We believe He has done this in the King James Bible.

The reading of "hamstrung an ox or oxen", as found in the NKJV, is also contrary to the context. We are told in Genesis 34:27-29 that Simeon and Levi came upon the city of Hamor and Shechem his son and slew all the males; they spoiled the city and took their sheep, oxen and their asses and carried away all their wealth, their wives and children. They did in fact destroy the city but they did not kill or hamstring the oxen, but rather took them alive for themselves. Why would they damage what was now their own property?

The King James Bible is right, as always. Don’t let the Bible Correctors, who themselves do not believe that ANY Bible in ANY language is the complete, preserved, inspired and 100% true words of God, fool you into not believing The Book.

For many more articles defending the King James Bible as being the only complete, preserved, inspired and 100% true words of God, please see my website here:

On your site you refer to the communion. I get the contents of the cup, and I get the unleavened bread. All references to the cup are singular. Do you all use one (1) cup? Also if you miss the communion for any reason will you disfellowship the person who was not in the Assembly? Refered to in Hebrews 10:25-26 I am convinced in what I have studied that that is not the worship service. What does the KJV 1611 Bible read and what understanding do you gleen from the word of God?

Hello Russell:
Thank you for your visit to our website and making it known to us of your reading “The Lord’s Supper”.
You say “Also if you miss the communion for any reason will you disfellowship the person who was not in the Assembly? Refered to in Hebrews 10:25-26 I am convinced in what I have studied that that is not the worship service. What does the KJV 1611 Bible read and what understanding do you gleen from the word of God?
Presuming this is of something personal that you have experienced; If we are wrong, please forgive us but the article does not speak of “ Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together… Hebrews 10:25,26. As this passage of scripture is not for us ‘doctrinally’ but will apply doctrinally in the ‘tribulation’ period, which we are NOT in. If verse 26 is doctrinally applied to us, have you truthfully ever done anything sinful which you knew was wrong? (We all have, which means, we have lost our salvation and cannot get it back. This passage is not for the church age, but it is for the Hebrews during the Tribulation who will need to have faith in Jesus Christ and keep the works of faith as in the Book of James, Hebrews etc.
Although “ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ” 2 Timothy 3:16

So, the passage Heb 10:25-26, is applied to the church age, inspirationally.

Hebrews 10:25-26 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

We are to be in fellowship with fellow brethren of like mindedness and to encourage one another in the Lord until the 2nd Coming of the Lord Jesus.
This statement does not encourage ecumenical tendencies because we are to be separate from sinners, Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?, Paul put out the fornicator in 1 Cor 5, etc etc.
There are reasons to brake fellowship with fellow believers, but not keeping communion is not one of them!

Concerning the ‘cup’

1 Corinthians 11:24-26 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

Practically, the leader of the communion will either brake the unleavened bread and hand the broken pieces around the assembly (via helpers) or the whole piece of bread will be handed around and a piece will be broken off by each person then handed on. The first way is more hygienic though! Each person will hold his piece of unleavened bread and tarry ( 1 Cor 11:20-22, 1 Cor 11:33-34) until the leader has given thanks, then we shall eat it in remembrance of our Lord’s broken body for us.
Now the leader will come to the “cup” and he is told to do it “ After the same manner” as the bread. Practically, how will he do it? If there is a large assembly say 200 people, it is impracticable to have a vat of grape juice to cover all 200 people and carry it to the first person and ask him to take a swig, but do not swallow as he has to tarry for all 200 people to have a mouthful, then pray then have remembrance, THAT would be unseemly and foolish. Even if the numbers were smaller it is still foolish to make people tarry with a mouthful of grape juice. So how does he do it “After the same manner.” The leader would have the grape juice ready in small glasses or such like and the helpers would hand a glass of grape juice to each person who in turn would tarry until all the assembly had their part. The leader would then give thanks and each would remember the Lord’s bloody body shed for us.
To have only one cup would violate the tarrying for one another and not doing it “After the same manner.”

“when he had supped, saying”
NOTE: It is the Lord who has supped, not the leader of the communion. We are all to remember at the same time including the leader of the communion.

Haste ye back!

Did you read " The Two Babylons by Hislop"
Jesus did not born at 25th december.
Your church celebrate Christmas or Easter?
I think that to celebtate christmas is false.

Your church's offering is openly or closed?

Please answer me.
Thank you

Risteard Erpel

Hello Risteard:
Thank you for your visit to our website.
If you had bothered to read anything on our site it probably would have changed your approach in the guest book section.
However, it is too bad you did not read The Great Imposter.

Also, No Good Friday.

We have "The Two Babylons" book in our possession and enjoy it very much.
We do have Christmas and Easter holidays as they are statuary holidays here.
We do no tithe as such and we are without camp.

I would be very wary about your approach, as you come across legalistic, people are at liberty to celebrate what they want (Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:) and traditions can be good, bad, true or false. Saints must be persuaded in their own mind to what God reveals to them.
Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Hope this has answered your queries.

Thanks for your teaching on the talebearer all I can say is WOW.

I have had moments where I bear false witness or operated as a talebearer and didn't even know it. The spirit of the Lord led me to your site this morning because I needed the understanding of how I was operating and what the scripture says. Now that I know this I will act accordingly and not give way to be a slander or whispher. Thank you.
