Dear Friends:
I have been using your crossword puzzles for our church monthly newsletter. It truly has been a blessing as it is sometimes difficult to get puzzles strictly from the KJV. Up until now it has been going well but when I tried to retrieve the solution to puzzle # 9 it appears to be incorrect. Consequently - the puzzles after that are either wrong or I am unable to see the solutions. Will you please advise me as to what I can do to get the solution to puzzle # 9 and then a correct puzzle # 10 with the solution to it.

Thank you!

Prayer Request

1 For God to open doors to see the KJV preached in the Rochdale area.

2 for a breakthrough in our finances to see this happen.

3 The Lord spoke to me in 2006 that I SHOULD ONLY preach from His pure word the KJV

I was looking for some stuff on what the deep is in the bible and found your site. I see the pants issue is still alive and well. I think in the biblical days everyone wore robes didn't they? I went to a church early on that preached the pants issue. I felt outcasted and set apart. I loved the bible teaching but felt I was not good enough so I left. I am getting good bible preaching now too but not treated like I have leporsy.

Dear Sir: I love reading your responses to some of these questions. This has probably been asked before, but what did the christian community do before 1611? As a matter of fact, what did the ancient church do before there was even a NEW TESTAMENT? I will keep going at my peril: What business did King James (a head of state) have in creating his "version". I hear that a Barak Obama version may be coming out soon. Should I read it?

Dan:
If you are really interested in the truth and not just trying to be sarcastic, then go to www.kjv1611.org.
and buy "The "Monarch Of The Books", "Manuscript Evidence" and "The Christians Handbook of Biblical Scholarship" by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman. That should start you off with the answers and more! Also, King James didn't "create his version", after you read those books, you will know the answer to that also. Barak Hussain Obama may put out a Muslim book, but that's all!

Hi thanks for your site , I have enjoyed reading your teachings and learning them. Do you know of any churches in or near Aberdeen that teach like your site from the King James bible I am looking for a new church.

Thanks
Debbie

Hello Debbie,:
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, we do not know of any sound church these last day. All, as far as we are led to believe have fell into apostasy. God is outside the door.

Hi there brother, really enjoyed the site and the 'Taste of scotland' show.I went all the way through - great. I am an engraver and one of my customers is over your way right now competing in highland dancing. World class lassie (I think thats what you would call her) Morgan Bamford. She brings the cups back here to 'lil-ol-New Zealand' for me to engrave. From the photo's it seems you haven't got rid of the gorse yet! I see the odd 'scotty' thistle as well - but I guess you can't eradicate the national pride, even if we would dearly love to down here. I am also a AV only believer. Send me your e-mail and I could send you some of our doings down here in thanks.

God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you for your zeal for the Lord and the work done here.
Concerning your "KJV statistics page".
All numbering of chapters and verses came as late as the 1500s for the NT. Even more is that the order of the books and parts of the Bible has changed or were compiled differently throughout time until the modern era. Lastly, if a thousand people today set about Chaptering and Versing the Bible you would have a thousand different variations. It isnt clear cut at all what should be a chapter and verse in the original languages. Any interesting outcome of Chaptering and Versing is simply the product of numerology. In a book that is 1,500 pages thick its pretty easy to glean many titillating factoids using numerology.
Just look at the number "23" for instance. There is a mountain of things that can be associated with this number. Then again it is just a product of the fact that we use a 10 digit system along with calenders, watches, addresses and the like. Some numbers are more predisposed to interesting numerology. The number 23 is while 785,635 isn't.
Don't put any divinely inspired stock into interesting extra biblical factoids.

God bless you, Jerry

Dear Bible pervert,:
1. I’m not into KJB numerology, and I do not know what the originals looked like. AND I’m 100% sure Jerry and his cronies have never seen the originals, so they don’t know wither the “originals” had chapters and verses either. But what we do KNOW is Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. Quoting from Psalm 2:7.
Bible numbering has been around for a long time IF you believe the Bible and not vain philosophies (Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.)
2. Excuse me, In what era do you live? You would do well by reading the bible in the order the KJV1611 is in because you have a lot of trouble understanding the milk let alone the meat (Hebrews 5:11-12 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.)
3. Your last point is exactly what you and your cronies are doing to the Bible by changing the word of God to your destruction. (2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.) It is very clear cut what it should be, but you Jerky have a belief problem, your Faith is shallow.
By the way, what is number 785,635, it might have a very special significance, for all you know. (Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.)

First of all, God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope that my post conveys humility and love and a desire for the truth.

Concerning your Lucifer claims. The writer of the original text and those receiving that text never heard the utterance "Lucifer". They didnt say or write "Lucifer" and lastly would have no idea what "Lucifer" even meant. Lucifer is a Latin term. It isnt a Latin proper name. It became popularized as a proper name through assumptions by readers of the KJV over time. No one assumes "Morning Star" as being a proper name but "Lucifer" can be even though it means the same thing.
If you were to be standing in a field around Rome 1,600 years ago at 5 A.M. and asked someone to point to "Lucifer" they would have pointed to a bright heavenly body known by many names. North Star, Morning Star etc. The word "Lucifer" probably didnt even exist in any langauge when the scripture was actually written originally. If you look at the original text and translation it simply means, morning star, light bearer, the one that brings in the morning etc.
"Lucifer" came from the Latin Vulgate in the 4th century and was commissioned by a Pope.
No where in any scripture is it said or implied that the KJV would be the divinely inspired translation to English speaking people. Any such claim is extra biblical. Furthermore, since there are over 200 languages globally that are ever changing into perpetuity one would assume that all 200 other languages also have their own divinely inspired "KJV"! Do they all use the word Lucifer? Where are these other 200+ divinely inspired "KJV" type Bibles? Frankly, its very presumptuous and short sighted to believe that God only had one divinely inspired biblical translation in the 1611 KJV Bible.
Your comparisons of the KJV and other translations are not valid. You are to compare and reconcile ALL translations back to the original languages that they were written in. You dont do this, you compare all translations to the KJV while assuming that the KJV speaks perfectly for the original texts.
Again, it is a man made idea that the KJV is divinely inspired and all others are not.
It could be argued that the KJV is more accurate or reflects the truth more so than others but that is a far cry from being the default voice of God to the exclusion of all others.

God bless you, Jerry

Hello:
Jerry, you say-

“I hope that my post conveys humility and love and a desire for the truth.”

What a pervert you are, let’s define your opening - God I think you’re a liar when you said that we are to believe every jot and tittle of your law and read the scriptures daily because you’ve not kept them in a book that I can pick up and read. I don’t desire the truth because all my education would become nothing and people might not think of me so scholarly. My love and humility is only for my self righteousness and vain knowledge, so I do take my bow before the uneducated.

How would you, Jerry of texas, know what the writer of the original text and those receiving that text, if they had heard the utterance "Lucifer". The point is, you make assumptions, for things don’t have a clue about and portray them as facts.

It would be pretty tough for the North star to fall from heaven and still be there or to be cut down to the ground. We never heard of a star weakening nations, but then we are not into science fiction like you, Bible Corrector. I also do not know how a star can say things in its heart or challenge God.

Frankly, its very presumptuous and short sighted to believe that God cannot keep a book He has written for us to believe in without the help and aid of good ole Jerry of texas to enlighten the masses.

In one corner we have GOD, who says His word is above His name and we are to trust in his word.
On the other corner , we have Jerry of texas and his cronies who say God’s word is only in the “originals” which they cannot produce or have ever seen, but trust them anyway to tell the truth. Even though the Bible says that all men are liars
. (Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.)

Webmaster

Jerry:
This man is very misinformed and it is obvious from reading the rest of what he says that he does not have nor believe in ANY Bible in ANY language as being the complete, inspired and 100% true words of God. If he wants to, have him join up at our Which Version club and there he can bring up the points he wants to share and we will gladly engage him in conversation about this passage or any other he wants to discuss.

Site Here is the Which Version .

I found your page by searching for J. Danson Smith. I am looking to get permission to use the words from the poem: "Sit Still, My Daughter" that I read in Streams in the Desert, and I would like to use the words in a song, by adding a melody to the beautiful words. I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I am not sure where else to obtain the information. If you are able to help me, or if you know of a contact who would be able to assist me, would you kindly send me an email with that information, I would be ever so thankful!

Thanks very much,

I glorify God on your behalf, and thank you for this excellent site. You have selected a great deal of very edifying material, and the site is a real blessing. I am involved in a King James forum, where believers in God's perfect word enjoy one another's fellowship; it's an entirely different sort of site, but you may find it of interest. I am sorry that in the past you have experienced a negative spirit from women wearing godly clothing. It must have been a harsh experience that caused you to reject the idea. I will be praying for you.

Hello TMJ:
Excuse me, reject what idea? Do you mean the NON SCRIPTURAL idea that woman must be subjected to a pharisitical law made up in the 20th century. Thank you for your prayers, and I will pray that you start reading your KJV Bible and believe what it says and stop listening to men who love their own selves. ( 2 Tim 3:2,6 )

I discern I have touched a nerve and you’re offended by what I said in my comments earlier to guest entry #965 but they do still stand. Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Scorn and sarcasm is to be expected from a person who lacks grace and spiritual growth. Your Pharisee approach 'holier than thou' and pride is evident in the sense of your immaturity as you take Deut. 22:5 out of context.
Maybe, when the scales are taken from your eyes you will be able to see that the low cut plunge is NOT ‘godly’. This of course is termed ‘ dressed to kill’ and is very much deemed in the eyes of Pharisee females who have NO thought for modest apparel but are deluded into thinking that as long as it is a dress ( part of womens’ clothing? ) it won’t matter how much is "on show".
I do not shun modest apparel whatsoever and highly advocate modest apparel not just on a Sunday but everyday.
A woman can wear whatever she wants as long as it's "modest", if she wants to be scriptural, 1 Tim. 2:9 There are modest trousers and immodest dresses! No one can use the O.T. to dogmatically put rules and regulations on anyone and be scriptural! We're under GRACE not the LAW! If a church wants to put the rule out that a women "shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man", I'd just leave that church, because it isn’t a Bible Believing Church!

I am close to your age. I live in a very liberal area of California due to my husbands job. I have worn a dress to church every Sunday, always. I do not wear it to be legalistic. I wear a dress to give respect & honor to the Lord & my husband. I wear a dress for one because a man cannot wear a dress in our society & not be thought of as gay. I don't want him to wear one either. There are plenty of women who want to take away the role of men in society today. If you look back at the respectable dress in the earlier years of America. It was defined respectable for a women to wear a dress. The vote liberated women so to speak. It liberated us alright. Taking the role away from our husbands. One has said, that our presidents have become better looking since women were given the right to vote. So are they looking to their husbands at all, I ask you?.
There are many good biblical sense reasons to wear a dress. You can go to Salvation Army or a yard sale any weekend & get a nice dress for $2.00. Jeans these days cost $30.00 or more. Help give men back their proper place in society. At least wear a dress @ church.

Hello Kate,:
I am pleased that your liberty to wear what you want satisfies you and your husband. However, you lack scriptural back up ( even though you say that “There are many good biblical sense reasons to wear a dress”) to prove that every female has to do the same as you is blatantly evident. Kate you say that you’re not legalistic in wearing a dress, but you ARE LEGALISTIC by demanding your own personal convictions on dresses to be applied to other women. ( NOTE, the scripture says ‘modest apparel,’ and not wearing of dresses. Not all dresses are modest as there are many immodest dresses out there) 1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

Your second point of Presidents becoming better looking is nullified by your present one!
STRANGE PLACE AMERICA when you cannot go to the yard sales and buy a pair of jeans for $2 but can go to the mall and buy numerous dresses at $300 each or more.

At least, don’t put on Christ only on a Sunday, wear Him every day.

Please read the following link Do Godly Women Wear Trousers.

The Lord showed me Twenty years ago, although I did read New King James, I often senced something was wrong.
We have not met any like minded beleivers. It is very lonley for us.
My husbands stepdad and wife are in the lying signs and wonders movement.
My family on my side are not born again ,they will not even let you mention the Lord.I was thrown out of there house on one occation.
And yes years ago we were put ouside of a church.
We are looking for fellowship and would like very much if you all would fellowship with us?

God Bless
Bridget and Jeff

NAHUM 1V7 - The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Earlier this year I repented from reading the New Living Translation and turned to the King James AV. May the Lord bless you all as you continue to share the truth.

Brother Seth,
May the Lord bless you this new year and also your family.

But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat? With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. Job 12:7-13
