King James Bible Believers

Trouble in Genesis

William West

The author of this work believes without reservation, that the King James Bible is more than just a priceless work of literary art, which it is. But it is has indeed been preserved without error by God's providence as an infallible book that the common man in the English speaking world can hold and own, and the light it can give rest entirely on that man's faith in it and its Author. And all those who believe otherwise have either been duped, have an unclean motive, are just ignorant or see no issue of importance in having God's word readily available in an infallible form. No amount of linguist ability can give any extra light if there is doubt to its content, the Holy Spirit will not honour anyone that want to subject this English Bible to an inferior position.

Trouble in Genesis

As we all know the word day has been under attack by evolutionist.

While this maybe boring and tiresome it is necessary. For when the Eternal Author wrote," Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that put their trust in him".

We are to acknowledge this as being so.

It does not take much research to find that the Darwinians and theists evolutionists want to make this a period of time. And of course they will say that the word day in the Hebrew can mean more than twenty-four hours. Do not be hood winked, they are not saying that it is 25 hours, one year, a decade or even a millennium but what they really mean is it a span for the aeons of evolution to fit in.

So seeing they have made the span between evening and morning in Genesis one at least 10,000,000 or so give or take a million letís see how it fits with the rest of Writ.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

The Holy Spirit did not leave us void of common sense as those that twist the verse (11 pet. 3:16). The Bible in many a verse we define other words in the context and thereby we can catch them in their own craftiness (1 Cor. 3: 19).

So being biblical lest us answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

Below is a list of verses where the word evening and morning appear

(Gen_1:5; Gen_1:8; Gen_1:13; Gen1:19 ; Gen_1:23; Gen_1:31; Exo_16:8; Exo_18:13; Exo_27:21; Lev_24:3; 1Sa_17:16; 1Ki_17:6; 2Ki_16:15; 1Ch_16:40; 2Ch_2:4; 2Ch_13:11; 2Ch_31:3; Ezr_3:3; Job_4:20; Psa_55:17; Psa_65:8; Psa_90:6; Ecc_11:6; Eze_33:22; Dan_8:26; Act_28:23).

Therefore if evening and morning define what a day is and you make it let us say 10,000,000 years (the space between evening and morning) to accommodate those that reject Moses and cling to Darwin the following verses will answer a fool according to his folly.

Exo 16:8 And Moses said, [This shall be], when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what [are] we? your murmurings [are] not against us, but against the LORD.

I can well understand why they murmured imagine if I gave you some cold cuts in the evening and you had to wait a few million years till the morning to make a sandwich.

Exo 18:13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

I have heard of standing in line for long periods of time, but this is silly.

No wonder they wanted to stone Moses.

1Sa 17:16 And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.

Lets see 10,000,000 times 40 =400,000,000 years. You would think that the Philistines would get the hint that no one wanted him around.

You can go through the rest of the verses yourself.

Seeing that these fools have redefined the word day in Genesis 1 they have also redefined the space between evening and morning also.

Pro 26:27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
