In America and most of the "civilized’ world we Christians are being bombarded by Animal Rights. We are put on a guilty trip or told that are insensitive, discriminative and oppressive. And I am sure there are other diatribes I have missed.

This best way to shut your mouth is to portray you as unloving and demigod of religious bigotry. The promoters of this HELLISH yet wise contortionist of truth have silenced many that have common sense by their love for their own pets.

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish.

ANIMAL Rights?

Now of course we could just ignore this and use witty slogans to express our views.

I Love Animals --- Chicken, Beef and Pork.

An animal without barbecue sauce is unloved!

Road kill is just tenderized meat.

When it comes to diet it is often a cultural difference and what is the norm to some is revolting to others. Many times religious practices dictate what is acceptable and what is considered unclean and even sinful.

The Bible addresses these issues head on and so no Christian should be ignorant.

We are not under the law so the following verses should be kept in mind.

Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

(Colossians 2:20-23)

And the voice [spake] unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common.

1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

1Co 8:13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

It is worth noting that the Christian, as far as diet is concerned, is basically under the same requirements as before the law.

Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

But we are not just speaking of diet here, but a movement that speaks about animals having rights.

The Holy Writ does not use the term rights in dealing with man or beast. Still, it does tell us how to treat animals.

There are very few places in Scripture where we are told to harm or kill animals other than for food, sacrifice and self preservation (Except in the case of bestiality Ex 22: 19 Lev 20: 16, idolatry 11 kings 23:11, gorging oxen Ex 21: 28 or hewing the hamstring on the enemies horses after battle Jos. 11:6).

Yet, when an animal is allowed to speak after being beaten for being faithful a rebuke was given.

And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. And the ass said unto Balaam, [Am] not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since [I was] thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay. Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face. And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because [thy] way is perverse before me: And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive. Here the ass had more sense than the man did and the angel of the Lord would have killed the man and saved the ass alive.

Therefore if someone should tell you that you have the brains of an ass—if it is Balaam’s ass you are being praised.

But even here the ass recognizes that he is under a man’s hand.

Man has been given authority over animals.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

But the issue is far weightier than diet or even the treatment of the creatures God hath made.

For under the subtle guise of being good to our pets and being humane to animals is a false religion.

Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

If you would lift the veneer of many of these groups which sponsor animal rights you will find that it is wrong to eat any form of cattle, eggs, cheese, milk, fish or fowl.

You will also find that the animals are co-equals with man on this planet. If you should read PETA’s handbook on animal rights experimenting on a chimpanzee is EQUAL to doing the same with a child.

Lastly you will find the words wrong, immoral and even sin used in PETA’S handbook and others. These are religious terms.

If eating meat is sinful then our Saviour is a sinner for he partook of the Passover and even served fish to his disciples.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. (John 21:13)

Creature worship is nothing new in the Scripture and many of the pagan gods of old were represented as animals or a human with animal traits (Horus falcon headed, Hathor a cow, Dagon a fish and many more).

(REMEMBER Satan is a creature and wants worship also)

Under this pretence of caring for animals you will find a cesspool with a mixture of evolution, pantheism, reincarnation and paganism.

And many well meaning Christian pet owners contribute blindly to groups that think little or nothing of the order God has placed.

Men will apostate in the following order of worship.

Lest ye corrupt [yourselves], and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, The likeness of any beast that [is] on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air, The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.  (Deuteronomy 4:16-19)

So what should the child of God do concerning animals?

7. If eating meat is immoral, wrong or sinful then Jehovah has authorized this action and is unholy.

8. We are stewards of this creation and all the abundance thereof and should be good steward of all his benefits.

Psa 116:12 What shall I render unto the LORD [for] all his benefits toward me?

Jon 4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and [also] much cattle?

Psa 84:3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Mat 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Deu 22:6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, [whether they be] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Remember the Bible has the proper role for both man and creature not some Bible rejecting animal rights advocate.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (Romans 1:21-23)
