King James Bible Believers

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Statement of Declaration: The author of this work believes without reservation, that the King James Bible is more than just a priceless work of literary art, which it is. But it is has indeed been preserved without error by God's providence as an infallible book that the common man in the English speaking world can hold and own, and the light it can give rest entirely on that man's faith in it and its Author. And all those who believe otherwise have either been duped, have an unclean motive, are just ignorant or see no issue of importance in having God's word readily available in an infallible form. No amount of linguist ability can give any extra light if there is doubt to its content, the Holy Spirit will not honour anyone that want to subject this English Bible to an inferior position.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

And it came to pass the third day, [which was] Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. (Gen 40:20) No birthday cakes from the baker.

But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod. (Mat 14:6)

And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief [estates] of Galilee; (Mar 6:21)

Maybe I will give my cake to the dogs and throw out the candles, for a hanging and a beheading are not my kind of celebration.

Perhaps, I should stick to the Old Testament and try day born in order to receive a more positive message.

Job 3:3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night [in which] it was said, There is a man child conceived.

Jer 20:14 Cursed [be] the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.

Eze 16:4 And [as for] thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple [thee]; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

And even when I try to separate the words into day and birth, I find it refers to a day of trouble two of the three it occurs.

2Ki 19:3 ; Ecc 7:1; Isa 37:3;

Ecc 7:1 A good name [is] better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.

Now seeing that he will not fail and the word is a light unto my path, what is the Author trying to show me?

Our first birth leaves us with tainted nature and a road of trouble.

Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Job 14:1 Man [that is] born of a woman [is] of few days, and full of trouble.

So from the Writ one finds that there are only two birthdays that are positive, eternal and pleasing to God.

The most important is the birth of our Saviour, when God allowed himself to descend and take on flesh.

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

(Heb 10:5-7)

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

The second is your spiritual birthday, the day you trust The Firstborn (Col. 1:15)and received the new birth.

(John 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

(John 3:7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

(1 Peter 1:23) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Having reached fifty-seven years of age I feel the affects of time. You know the backaches, joints sore, hair loss and wrinkles. All these are just road signs on the way to the cemetery.

It is rather comical, if not a twisted form of paganism that many light candles to remember the dead. I wonder if they except them to arise and blow out the candle.

(Job 18:5) Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

Yet, I thank God for the life he has given me, but this aging process due to the innate inheritance of sin is marked off in increments of birthdays.

Your first birth will not end with candles on a cake, but with worms in a box. No matter how beautiful the box it holds true.

Job 21:26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

BUT, glory to God the second birth has no end and glory waits.

(Revelation 21:4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

1Co 15:42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

So Happy 2nd birthday to you and I hope this holds true, for the first will not do.

If you are not 100% sure that you are going to Heaven when you die, enter in at the the door:

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
