My main goal outside of honouring the Lord Jesus Christ and using the only Book he has preserved for an English-speaking people The Authorized King James Bible, is to be practical and spiritual in this present evil world. Statement of Declaration: The author of this work believes without reservation, that the King James Bible is more than just a priceless work of literary art, which it is. But it is has indeed been preserved without error by God's providence as an infallible book that the common man in the English speaking world can hold and own, and the light it can give rest entirely on that man's faith in it and its Author. And all those who believe otherwise have either been duped, have an unclean motive, are just ignorant or see no issue of importance in having God's word readily available in an infallible form. No amount of linguist ability can give any extra light if there is doubt to its content, the Holy Spirit will not honour anyone that want to subject this English Bible to an inferior position. I once seen a Bible offered years by Tel-Evangelist
Jimmy years ago, which read this Bible absolutely free with a love
offering that was costlier then the “free Bible”. I forget if this one
that stated that the cover was pure leather and in small print it read
“sprayed on”.
It is no wonder our Lord used the words “be not
deceived”.
Many years ago you could order a sure cockroach killer by
mail. You were sent two small blocks of wood with instructions.
Using the words spoken by the weeping prophet Jeremiah (Jer. 12.6)"Believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee ".
There has always been cons and rip off artists and the
most infamous was Satan himself with the sales pitch to Eve. We
constantly have to watch our backside, our credit card numbers and the
rest while we live in this present evil world.
Let us face it after a while of being ripped off,
cheated, taken advantaged of and just out and out shafted we get rather
leery of any offer especially with the word free attached.
Though as bad as secular consequence maybe nothing can
match the spiritual.
Mat 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Yet as in many cases the law of first mention defines
the word freely (Gen.2:16) and the last
time it is mentioned is shouting ground (Rev.
22:17).
And the LORD God commanded
the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:
for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Gen
2:16-17)
Absolutely no strings attached, no buy one tree and get
one free, Adam was told straightforward what was free and what was not.
Adam of course later ate from the tree that has cost all his offspring
dearly.
Is it innate in Adam’s that men reject what is truly
free and pays for snake oil from the serpent with its false claim?
When our Lord Jesus freely gave with healing there were no fees of any kind. Unlike the physicians that drained all of the funds from the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus charged not and instructed his disciples to do likewise. Mar 5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, (Mat 10:8) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
I guess Jesus was the first with free
socialized medical care.
The same can be said for salvation there is no hidden charge it is free. The reason it is free is because it has already been paid in full. We lawbreakers are bankrupt before the Judge of the universe and when he offers a free gift many reject. In fact it is not a free gift according to Scripture it is the free gift (Rom. 5). Any other free gift does not compare.
Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that
thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye,
buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without
price.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
