Authoritative Head By

It has been taken for granted in these times in understanding the importance of honouring your Head. For instance, when praying it is a dishonour to Christ when a man has his head covered with a cap or being what it is these days with ‘wordly fashion’ a hood. These should be removed from your head before praying, thus showing honour to Christ who is the man’s head. 1Co:11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 1Co:11:4: Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. The woman who prays and has short hair and without a covering for her short hair dishonours her head which is her husband. She puts shame on him! The mark of a rebellious woman is by her ‘short hair’. Short hair is defined by showing the ears and nape of the neck. The shorter the hair the more rebellious! But in saying that,it doesn’t mean that the longer her hair is the more gracious she is! 1Co:11:5: But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 1Co:11:6: For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered
The Lord Jesus Christ is the man’s Authoritative Head and when that man wears a cap or hood on his head whilst praying he is covering his head’s glory, he is dishonouring God! On the same token the woman having her head covered is the glory of man, thus she honours God by honouring her husband and God will honour her because she honours her husband. 1Co:11:7: For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 1Co:11:8: For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Creation is very clear here as a deep sleep fell on Adam and woman was made from his rib. (see Genesis:2:21,22): 1Co:11:9: Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. Yes that’s right ladies you were created as a help meet for your man! So clearly the rebellious of today’s women libber’s oppose God’s written word as to what they were made for. Woman’s rights? Why they don’t have the right to their own name. When Eve was made she bore the name of here husband Adam, just as a woman bears her husband’s name in marriage today. When a girl is born into family, she bears her father’s name and if she doesn’t marry she still bears man’s name! The son’s name doesn’t altar through his entire life and in marriage his wife bears his name. Ge:2:24: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 1Co:11:10: For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Something happened between the Terrestrial being and the Celestial being in Genesis. This is another study Lord willing! 1Co:11:11: Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 1Co:11:12: For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God. Creation and reproduction is ALL of God! 1Co:11:13: Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Well, is it? 1Co:11:14: Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
1Co:11:15: But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
I don’t understand why the brethren miss the crystal clear statement in verse 15. They tend to have the idea that wearing a scarf or a hat is the covering for the woman. Don’t they believe what they read in this verse? The passage of scripture makes it very clear that ‘long hair’ is for a covering and the reason why is connected to verse 10 which is another study! ( because of the angels)
