I
write this with a heavy heart. The longer you put off what Christ has done
and offering you, the heavier my heart becomes.
The attempt to win you to Christ must continue until a time to stop
comes, when that will be only GOD knows. I cannot afford to stop
testifying of him just yet; and you cannot afford to reject him. Your soul
depends on it!
The matter is certainly not taken lightly here, as some would mock and
ridicule these things. GOD gives everyone even those people who mock,
scoff and ridicule, no excuse to stand before him and say " I didn't
know".
Do you know that the King James Bible speaks more on hell than it does
heaven?
The
Lord Jesus drank from a cup that was so horrendous even HE gasped at it!
What was in that cup? The sins of the world were in that cup! Yours and
mine included.
So Christ was once offered to bear the
sins of many;
Hebrews
9:28
Our
sins being so grotesque that the Man
Christ Jesus took it upon himself and became sin for us
(2Cor
5:21)
that's why
Christ said in torment "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me"?
Psalm
22:1 Matthew 27:46 .
Although God, he was 100% Man he became fully aware
of the Divine wrath poured out on sin (the cup!).
He bore our sins on the cross.
Yet it pleased the LORD to
bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an
offering for sin... Isaiah 53:10
Christ, to bled and died for us. His
blood was shed for many. The many are those who believe the gospel.
It
is a matter of believing the gospel to be saved from going to hell.
For I delivered unto you first of all
that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to
the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures: 1Corinthians 15: 3,4
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:31.
For all have sinned, and come short of
the glory of God; Roman
3:23
But God commendeth his love towards
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
For the wages of sin is death; but the
gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto Salvation. Roman 10:9-10
The
gospel is too simple for many people, that they reject God's given grace
that saves them. They have been falsely led into believing that they must
do something of their own to earn God's merit. If that is the case, and
it's not, then the Lord Jesus Christ died in vain! He died for nothing!!
If
you reject God's Son, you reject what the Almighty God has provided for
you to be be with HIM in heaven.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way,
the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John
14:6
It is so very important to receive the
Lord Jesus now! as your Saviour!
2Corinthians 6:1-2. We then, as workers together with him, beseech you
also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of
salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold,
now is the day of salvation.)
The urgency of doing this is,
because no one knows if another day is given them. We cannot promise
ourselves another day !
Only by the grace of God does he give us these things, but he will not
strive with men forever. The days in this life are short.
Isaiah 40:7-8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD
bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the
flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
James
1:11
For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the
grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion
of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away
in his ways.
1Peter 1:24-25
For all flesh is as grass, and all the
glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower
thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto
you.
Here's an illustration to
help you see the importance and urgency of why you need the Lord Jesus
Christ now .
It's a lovely summer's day,
you and I are walking along the harbour making for the pier.
As we are walking, you trip and fall into the water. To make matters
worse, you cannot swim!
Now do you think there would be any point in me throwing you an
instruction book on how to swim? OR shouting to you to wave your arms
about? No! it's too late for that! What you need is a lifeline, because
you are sinking down into a watery grave!
A passer-by shouts " throw him the life line next week" Would that be any
good to you? Or "throw one tomorrow"! No! you need that life line now!
Now the Lord Jesus is the lifeline you need! because you are sinking into
a worse place than a watery grave! You are sinking down into hell fire!
And the time to take the Lord Jesus Christ as Your lifeline is Now!!
You may find yourself aghast
at some of the things you have been told. But, is it not better to be
shocked now while you can do something about it? And put your trust in the
Lord and Saviour to save you from going to hell! Or Find yourself in hell
when there's nothing you can do about it. Because, at that stage it's too
late to do anything about your rejection towards the Saviour's Grace and
Mercy! Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into
outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth
Matthew 22:13 ... and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
GOD is giving you his grace now to accept him, before you leave this
world. Don' t shut the door in his face Be prepared!
We have an expression " You may have to be cruel to be kind " for your own
good! The truth you have been given may sound cruel, but it's the truth,
and it's through love you are given it!
Ezekiel 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith
the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
 John 10:9 I am the door: by me if
any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find
pasture.
